Fun news from Denver.
It's snowing. A bit. Hunter already covered this to an extent over at coffeechick.com, but, she's got her DigiCam, and I've got mine.
It's snowing a lot....

The front yard, where we're expecting up to two feet by noon tomorrow.

The only spot in the city confirmed to be devoid of snow.

A hedge. No, really: it's a hedge. If memory serves. It's usually less smooth and white.

I think we're above two feet now. My tankerboots are thirteen inches tall.

For my next amazing trick, I'll be not driving anywhere for a while.

Here's where we started trying to get a shot of this house, with its lightmolten snowsculpture.

On the bright side, I'm not expecting a lot of traffic on this street; it's probably okay to just dock your car wherever.

Slightly failed attempt at getting a shot of the street to the north.

This one was clearer. The shot, not the street. The street won't be clear until August. It never is.

Back to Casa de Snowsculpture. Still not really working yet.

It works without the flash on.
In other news, my primary computer puked hard the other night. So I'm WiFied through the laptop for a while. Mostly because I need a few things in order to fix the tower. And I'm not driving anywhere. Neither is anyone from usps.gov to ups.com. It's like NewOrleans without all the free stuff.
So, things are actually a bit boring here. The laptop's 3GHz with half a gig of RAM, which is sadly less than enough these days. I'm working on a few things, including January's version of gremlin.net; but, all things considered, I can't promise that I'll have much ready in time. Never know, though.
More later....
