Of course, I was planning to store the shows here too. If only as a redundant backup. And storing ten-meg shows on this server at one per week isn't going to fill anything up here; it would take two years to hit a gigabyte--and DVRoms are already down to a dollar a gigabyte. So space isn't a huge issue on my end.
I suppose I'll probably end up having something like 'current.rm' here on the server, which I'll replace every week when new shows are done. There's no real reason not to.
Again: the general purpose of this is funding. The Network itself isn't running on any sort of corporate sponsorship, whether individual shows have adverts or not. At some point, there's got to be a budget for bandwidth and servers; charging something nominal to access older shows is a lot less annoying than devoting half the live feed to pledgedrives.
