Since I'm dealing with an American idiot, I'm not going to bother explaining the rules of the language. You just won't get it.
What you should get, however, is the difference between numbers and letters. A number contains these things: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
A letter, however, is one of these: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z.
'FF' is not a 'number'.
The number of shades of grey is, quite obviously 256. Unless you're colourblind, in which case there's something around sixteen million, or something.
Of course, you think that people are claiming the Earth to be sixty-five billion years old, so I shouldn't really expect you to know the difference between a number and a letter, should I?
