I leave you now with a nugget of joy which really has nothing to do with anything in general, but humorous just the same. The latest winner in the Miss Kansas Beauty Pageant (and contender for Miss America) is a lovely young lady who also happens to be an amputee. Front page of the local newspaper had a shot of her sans prosthetic limb (it was sitting on the table next to her) with the headline 'NEW MISS KANSAS SINGLE-HANDEDLY BEATS THE COMPETITION!'
