Forty-eight hundred milligrams of ibuprofin, four hundred milligrammes of Lortab [synthesised pharmaceutical heroin], three SportShakes, two grilled cheese sandwiches, a case of Doctor Pepper, and half a bottle of schnapps, and the headache I've had for the last thirty-six hours has diminished enough that my cognitive process is equal to that of the average baptist. It's a start, I guess.

So.

Newswise, there's not a lot; but what there is isn't too bad.

News of the Stoopid [NotS] is officially available after only two years of idiocy. It's not necessarily in stores yet [and I'll be amazed if WalMart happen to sell it, all things considered], but the option exists. Stores should be able to order the book in bulk now.

Whether they'll want to is another story. That depends on the demand in general. If anyone wants to help to create a demand, go ahead and ask random stores if they have it in stock.

Most likely, they'll hit the computer and determine that they haven't got it but can order it. But, if enough people ask enough stores, they'll rethink that and start preordering it to have it in stock the next time someone comes in and asks where it is.

Most people hate hearing 'no, but we can order it', and won't bother waiting. If Barnes&Noble haven't got it, they'll leave and try at Borders.

So there's that. And it's basically good news.

Then there's RotS. And there's not a lot of news on that.

Last I heard, Freethought wanted the show. Badly. So I agreed to let them release it. That was a month ago. I've been waiting on the paperwork since then.

So that kinda sucks. I didn't want to start recording RotS until I knew who was releasing it. And now I'm not sure anymore.

I'll give it another week, and then give up on Freethought. I can just release it through Wasted; then if Freethought really want it, we can renegotiate. It can happen either way; the only real advantage to letting Freethought release it is the additional marketing and sponsorship--neither is technically necessary for the show to work. I can do this either way.

As for everything else, there's not much news yet. I'm working on a tyrannosaur in LightWave--partly for the HGD, and partly for the video...maybe. It depends how it looks in the end.

Oh: and I got Hunter one of the Predacious Moments shirts--mostly to get a look at it. It's pretty impressive, actually. So I'm going to start adding designs as I have time. I've had a number of people ask for shirts and all with various deinosaurs on them. And I'm going to kill most of the CEI stuff and replace it with better images.

I guess that's it; more later....
