hm..i was thinking about what I consider a soul to be. My conclusion was my soul is that part which enables me to think, to be logical, to decide, to feel, to do the things that make a human human. Is this soul immortal and unable to die? This is the concept of soul which you consider to be immeasurable.
Some people think that the sense of awareness is a little part of the brain or thyroid or something like that which pulses at 40 hz (the principle of this statement is true, the actual numbers and organs involved may not be...please don't use these numbers for scientific research :) ) I see that research, and unlike most christians may do, i don't think you imbicile, the soul is immaterial. I see that and know that god could cause awareness in any way he feels. If the soul is truly contained within an organ of the body, who cares. If the soul is this organ, then it would seem to follow that the soul is mortal.

Whether we have a soul or not does differ from whether christians are homosexual, but not by much. I won't pursue this point because it would create a meaningless thread. I did appreciate your strike at christians through the example though, however conscious or subconscious the strike was.
