I suppose you are right, if a god did make himself known and did not want us to be worshiping him then we shouldn't worship him. But then in worshiping him we aren't worshiping him so it all works out anyway.
As far as going through the dictionary bit, yes we did. And we continue to revisit it because frankly, we are subject to the english language.
If nothing else is unchanging then nothing else is god. I have not brought the existence of a specific god, I only made claim to having evidence that a god - or an unchanging, supreme thing was in existence. What is being misunderstood here is the misconception that a god is something which is conscious, is something which is tangible, that a god is something that would necessarily leave traces, although our existence here is trace of a god in existence according to the explanation you may choose to not acknowledge.
And by the way, parents do not create their children in the same sense as a god would have created us, so no child is expected to worship their parents....unless www.damnitology.com's banner is telling the truth.
