The prayer to have whatever demon that was eat another student may be read as a threat, but everything else should be permissable as long as the school day is uninterrupted. However, there is a question of morals which the FCC and others believe exist. Morals seem to exist throughout without the help of Christianity. While some cultures believe in Cannabalism, most hold murder of fellow tribesmen as wrong. Some societies believe marriage to two, three, or a thousand wives is ok, but in all marriage is considered the acceptable thing. Oddly, I do not understand why marriage is still held as highly as it is. I have a strictly agnostic uncle who seemingly brainwashes his children towards his beliefs...not unlike Christians I suppose. His beliefs have an odd bent though. He allows his children to view red pixels and curse, but WWF is out of the question. That was getting off the topic though. My uncle believes marriage to be the right thing, and couples with children living together should be married. I do not see how, without a god, this moral code could exist. I do suppose that the psychological benefits surrounding the typical family may hold enough merit.
It seems that our culture may not hold to the morals of the Bible, but the psychological and social benefits these morals possess are enough to enforce some of them.
I don't understand...why do humans have to be substandard? When I first read that I could have misunderstood it to mean that because there was a greater life-force we as humans are belittled, when in fact, we are not. We are not smaller than we are, but God is greater than we are. You are who you are whether or not God exists. If this is not so, then you consider yourself a god.
The other way to read that is in reference to sin. I suspect this is what you were referring to, and again humans are known to be imperfect the only question becomes is there a punishment or not for our errors.
