It may surprise Americans to know that when the U.S. Constitution was being crafted, there were some who objected to it.
Americans have learned in high school history class that the main objection was that the thirteen states would have to surrender some of their power to a new federal government.
Who knew there were only thirteen states in Duhmerica when the Pledge of Allegiance was adopted in 1942....

On Monday, August 5, President George W. Bush signed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act into law.
According to the National Right to Life Committee, "The bill would guarantee that live-born infants are afforded full legal rights under federal law, regardless of their stage of development or whether their live births occurred during an abortion."
Full rights? Cool. Emancipate them. I can't wait to see how long they'll survive on their own....
