Anyone who goes to Brazos State Park, might want to reconsider this location, This gator was caught a few weeks ago at Kitty Hollow Park in Missouri City, Texas on Highway 6. A construction worker found it laying in one of the concrete pipes. Animal control officers said it weighed just under 2100 pounds and was18 1/2 feet long! I say again, this was Texas , not the Florida Everglades. (To actually think that kids play in the park just a few feet away.)
We might wanna reconsider our trip to Texas. Because an alligator was found in proximity to kids playing, but--apparently--it had never eaten any of them. Which is why we caught and ducttaped this guy into submission.
Granted, Texas is known for its dangerous, slow-moving fauna: I think President Junior is from there. But leave the alligators alone....
