Yeah, that type of "hog tying" is rather commonplace with captured alligators. Admittedly it is usually reserved for the 6-9ft ones. Then again, this is Texas.

The duct tape I can understand, but the whole binding of the arms and legs like that is such a yahoo thing.

Oh well, at least they didn't kill it.
