     Atheistic tendencies, though...I suppose any given herpetologist might realise that reptiles--including colubrids, or whatever qualifies most directly as a serpent--are physicially incapable of speaking any language understood by homosapiens. Not that the bible contains any errors; everyone knows that pi is 3.00 and bats are birds, after all....
     I can't really guess though. It's a neat name, even though it sounds like a particularly slow sort of deck outside your back door. And it's better than Iggy, Igor, and every other name usually given to iguanae....
