It's a little too soon to link to this officially, but the new chatroom has moved into betatesting now.
Once it's all fully tested, it'll become standard. For now, it'll exist at gremlin.net/chat whenever it's online.
You'll have to register to use it [username and password; pretty easy] and then sign in to start. The link will work either way; if nothing happens for signing in, it means that the chatroom is back offline to fix something we missed. But, at this point, it's online more often than it's not.
One thing we haven't written yet is the FAQ. Partly because we're still adding features and we're not sure what will be included in the end. But hypertext is allowed, to a degree: B, I, U, STRIKE, HREFs, IMG SRCs, and so on.
Also, we've got an autocorrect function which will change whatever you misspell into what the system assumes you actually meant. We're still refining that, of course.
We've also approximated the JavaChat /me function with a colon. : is [the space is required]. And we're adding macroes as we think of them; try : !euphs for an example of a macro. Saves on typing a bit....
