I only use laptops at restaurants. Which is to say that I don't use anything else at restaurants. At home, I use anything from a laptop [where I have three machines which most people consider laptops] to desktops to towers to less ordinary things.
At last count, I have three actual laptops [one Dell (ick) and two Sonys] three palmtops [two HewlettPackards and an antique Casio] a couple of fairly generic intel desktops, a Commodore laptop, a couple of Amiga500s, an Amiga4060T which has been modified into a 4GHz Linux monster, an Apple][plus, and a few things no one would really recognise as a computer.
Aside from all that, Greenback has the Compaq Precambrian I'm currently typing on, and Hunter has the new AMD 8886 ChainsawPsycho workstation.
So: I've got computers here. I just haven't got anything at this instant which qualifies as a normal, modern, websurfing sort of machine. Which is why I'm trying to get the Sony FX210 fixed, and I'm looking seriously at the Sony PCG-GRX650 to give me something faster while Hunter uses the FX210 to play videogames at restaurants while I'm working.
