Just wanted to make a footnote; The part I had posted about Bards being able to recite entire poems from memory was untrue. It was part of a setup that occured to me when Ken challenged anyone to name texts.. blah blah. I gave him a challenge, and provided him with a web source that, if he had bothered to read it, would have immediately given him information to use to blow my assertion regarding the level of copy errors in Bardic texts away. In short, he claimed to have read the cited website, but in fact lied about that. Just wanted to set the record straight: Bards don't memorise poems verbatim, and Ken doesn't read sources unless they inherently support his position.
