1) He goes out of his way to make obvious contradictions in his posts.

Looking over everything he's ever said, it's fairly clear that he doesn't consider his 'if u knew'-ing to be 'self-aggrandisement'.

brenton_spears : john whitcomb..i met him in person..talked to him..a great deal..and humility stops me from repeating to the room what he told my pastor about me..
brenton_spears : i would tell u what whitcomb said to my pastor about me but modesty prevents me from doing so
brenton_spears : i also did take my sats.......(modesty prevents me from revaling my scores on them)...

As you can see, the only thing modesty prevents him from doing is revealing numbers, or comment from people glorifying him.

2) Brenton constantly refers to his beliefs, heroes, faith, and personal attributes in a poetic, almost novelistic fashion.
     Examples...
Now, I'm not a psychologist, but I don't think most 'normal' people talk about themselves that way. The style in which he builds himself up either represents deliberate dishonesty, which he feels he should cover up in poetic language; Or a severe mental problem, which I think we can rule out due to the consistency of his opinions and attitudes (Yes, they're consistently ill-founded, moronic, and asinine, but they're still consistent).

The mentally ill are far more consistent than the fake. That's a fairly good gauge of things. Oddly enough, the way to tell if someone is actually mentally ill, or if they're faking, is to watch the...continuity of their delusions. Brenton has been incredibly consistent in his behaviour, at least.

3) He has a habit of suddenly acting incredibly childish in the middle of a debate.
Here we see a strange side of Brenton. While most of his posts attempt to show his 'great respect' for his 'worthy opponents', these seem to display the exact opposite, a condescending, childish 'I win' attitude that differs quite wildly from his normal posts.

That was actually something I was waiting for. He's beginning to snap.

4) His spelling and grammar are inconsistently atrocious.
As you can see, despite his liberal sprinkling of words that most people with less than a high school education would have to look up, he doesn't seem to care enough to A)Check his spelling of more mundane words, B)Actually spell out words such as 'u', C)Capitalize proper [correction: nouns], such as names, 'I' etc., D)Put apostrophes on contracted words and possessive nouns and pronouns, 'you're', 'can't', 'they're' etc., and E)Put punctuation at the end of his sentences. Curiously enough, this poor spelling and grammar only appears on his shorter posts and not his more long-winded ones. And even more unusual, he doesn't capitalize the names of the people he claims to hold in the highest esteem, Jesus, Aquinas, Mary, etc.

That holds with my theory that his longwinded posts are carefully constructed in Microsoft Word, using the Thesaurus. It makes a degree of sense, especially considering how often he uses large words that are blatantly out of place in the sentence/context he uses them in.

5) He doesn't want to be quoted.
Seems that our 'humble' Brenton does not want any paper trail leading to his name.

It makes sense. He makes claims of 'iminent' fame that would be 'damaged' by his presence here on the board. Which sounds like a puffy way of saying 'I know deep down I lose all the time, and I don't want it recorded.'

Quite frankly, his behaviour is incredibly consistent with someone who actually has whatever mental defect that makes people as deeply religious as he is. He's definitely blatantly dishonest, but it would appear that it's only to hide his true shortcomings. Somewhere in that one fairly long post where we trounced him regarding BeverlyHills, he said something that he shouldn't have said. Something about 'never' having 'seen a trailer park in his life', or something. His use of "Beverly Hills", and "Cambridge" [meaning Cambridge, in England] are meant to make him look important. Using the American Cambridge would have made more sense, since it would appear that he's 'namedropping' these regions to make him look more intelligent and wealthy, thus powerful.
In reality, he can't tell anyone a thing about England, nor can he tell anyone about Beverly Hills....
Here's what I feel I can safely conclude from this:
He's deeply ashamed about where he resides; it's most likely in a low income apartment or some other housing development, and he even more likely lives in a very sparsely populated area. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he DID live in a trailer.
He's probably logging on from one of those largely religious towns, like Tupelo, Mississippi [I think they're home of the AFA], or something in a similar region, and doesn't want to mention this because, like his real SAT scores, it would fuck up the image he's trying to portray.
Beyond that, though, this kid has delusions of televangelism. I think that the room is largely practise for him, and he's just being who he aspires to be. Take Kent Hovind as an example. He's got two sides to his personality too. One of them's a lying, delusional creationist; the other's a slumlord felon creationist.
Brenton Spears is [in theory] nothing more than a good 'ol down home Southern Baptist Mama's Boy who dreams of being, likely, a traveling televangelist.
