I would like to take a moment to thank you for pointing out to me privately and in person my shortcommings [sic]!
Yeah. I did that in the meeting you blew off.
I never claimed to have designed the stuff on the ea logo...
I guess so. Although 'I personally hand drew the Exiled Angel logo, then I took that image and created the 3d computer rendering using the drawing as a basis for what I was looking for' suggests the design process to the casual reader.
The whole problem arose when I was told that I had stolen the logo, I did not.
That's true. Although not necessarily in the sense that you're thinking of. I never actually suggested that you'd stolen anything; I happened to comment that I knew the guys who had created the files. How that telephoned its way from me to Dino to Chris to you to me is anyone's guess. Again: it could have been discussed in the meeting we never had.
I would also like to thank you for taking a private e-mail that was not even sent to you and blasting it in a public forum
Not true. Have a look:
Traditionally, an EMail sent to gremlin@gremlin.net is, in fact, sent to me. To my knowledge, no one else has ever owned gremlin.net at all.
Truly, if you had brought the logo stuff to my attention I would have appreciated it, thanked you and taken action, it is called common courtesy.
See above. Meeting set; meeting abandoned; EMail sent castigating me for accusing you of theft, third- or fourth-hand.
Even though I do not condone the method that was used to bring this to my attention, I feel that I must thank you anyways for bringing it to my attention.
Fair enough: I don't condone EMailing me telling me I'm wrong about accusations I'd never made--especially when, however ironically, I'd have been right had I made them.
