One of the replies mentioned that this guy wasn't really interested in debating the point, but in showing how nicely he could argue. That appears to be the case.
     The problem with a debate in this genre is that debates are the exchanges of facts. And deities aren't known to exist in fact. The only possible debate would be to have a theist provide evidence supporting the assertion that deities exist; that evidence would either show deities to exist or not.
     To date, no evidence has shown deities to exist. Until or unless evidence is published showing them to exist, the debate is going to be won by the atheist.
     So a guy working both sides of the street is a troll at best. The same basic debate could be waged over the assertion that Smurfs control Jupiter. It's not really an issue until evidence supporting the assertion becomes available.
