Or, at least they eventually can be.

A report from IGN PS2 on 15th April mentions that French company LSP software has acquired the license, and is developing a game based off of Joe Dante's Gremlins.

Will this game be a fun, dark romp, or will it turn into yet another steaming pile of license based crap? Only time will tell.

On the bright side, one can play as stripe.
