I like to do my own research on the Bible rather than rely on what other people say whether they be a skeptic or a believer. I came across some material that was pretty startling in some ways. Since you are a bonafide skeptic, I would be interested in hearing what you have to saw about what I uncovered. Below is a letter with some links that I wrote someone. If you could be so kind to look over what I discovered it would be appreciated.
I know you like Christian apologetics and here is one I am either going to create or have a friend create who enjoys doing apologetics and I will base it upon the material in these links. I will have to edit some of the materials as I do not believe that Christians are under the dietary, ceremonial, and other laws that the New Testament says we are clearly not under (Romans, Galations, etc). Please tell me what you think if you have the time to look at the sites. I believe you will be amazed by the information given in these sites as I was (Although I shouldn't have been amazed since the Bible was inspired by God). Below is the apologetic:
I recently came across some unusual information that I thought would make a great defense of the Christian faith. The information is not widely known and I believe it can help create a strong basis of belief for the divine nature of the Bible for the following reasons:
- The information is very topical and very applicable to peoples lives. Whether a person is a Christian or a non-Christian they could benefit from the information that I will present.
- The information is of a cut and dried nature. The bulk of the information is of a objective nature. There is little data of a subjective nature. Also, the information is also newsworthy because there is a very small minority of people who are aware of this information.
- The information is very advanced and far surpasses even the most advanced society in the world today asfar as their current practices. This will show the divine nature of the Bible as you will soon see.
- No claims about the authorship and date of the Bible will be initially relevant to the information provided here. Even the latest possible authorship of the Old Testament or New Testament will not effect the strength of this support for the divine nature of the Bible. If however the divine nature of the first 5 books is established then it would make sense to credit its authorship to Moses since that is what the Bible plainly says.
- The information presented will show the goodness and great wisdom of God.

www.sjs.org/classes/middle/8history/studentpages/Studentpages/wn/historicalprecedent.htmlThe traditonal authorship of the first 5 books of the Bible is Moses. And the Bible states that Moses wrote those 5 books. I hope I have helped established Moses's authority as a true prophet of God. Moses knew about nutritional, medical, sanitational, and social principles that WERE far ahead of their time and STILL ARE far ahead of their time in many ways as you have seen - even in the most advanced countries. If you a interested in knowing about Moses as a prophet of God the following site will discuss this further and will also discuss the other prophets of the Old Testament and their prophecies:
