flashtalon : Pardon?
jscuther : Evolution is a false science. Believe in the creator God of the Bible.
flashtalon : If you wish to convert me to christianity or any thing derived therefrom first read this http://www.wretchedsun.com/~RavenOne/html/manifesto.html
flashtalon : That is a run down of my current basic beliefs
flashtalon : Than get back to me
jscuther : I only wish to enlighten you on the falsity of evolutionary theory. This is the foundation of all wrong science.
flashtalon : Uh yeah. What plannet are you from?
flashtalon : Do you even know what evolution is?
jscuther : One that doesn't blindly follow a false science. How about you?
flashtalon : Cant you even answer the question?
flashtalon : Or are you just blindly parroting hat your best friend told you to say?
jscuther : Of course I do. How would I enlighten you of its falisity if I didn't know what it was?
flashtalon : You'd be surprised at the people who try...
jscuther : Research my friend. Try it.
flashtalon : Especially comming from this room.
flashtalon : I did
jscuther : Yes, I can imagine....
flashtalon : So what periodicals, published in a peer reviewed journal support your idea that evolution is a fiction?
jscuther : You did? Did you attempt to read the objections to it?
flashtalon : Personally I don't have to deffend my stance
flashtalon : You're the one trying to change my views.
flashtalon : Give me a good reason to
flashtalon : Other than a cocky attitude and 'research it yourself'.
flashtalon : WHY should I believe in your GOD?
jscuther : Firstsly, Techinal Journal, secondly, there have been some articles from non-evolutionists in Nature, and Scientific America
flashtalon : WHy does belief in your GOD equal to the non-existance of evolution?
jscuther : Firstly*
flashtalon : Nature and scientific america are not peer-reviewed journals.
jscuther : It doesn't, lack of evidence does.
flashtalon : They are publications for the mass-media and population which often get things wrong
jscuther : You're right, I was just telling you the journals I read.
flashtalon : Lack of evidence of evolution?
jscuther : TJ however, is.
jscuther : Yes.
flashtalon : Um...
flashtalon : you mean fossilised creatures, darwin's finches, etc don't exist?
jscuther : Such as... Natural selection, and the fossil record.
jscuther : Yes, they do indeed exist, however, the finches remained finces.
flashtalon : Alright.
jscuther : Natural selection only makes a certain species better able to adapt to its environment, it doesn't change the genetic code.
flashtalon : Natural selection =/= evolution
jscuther : Even with the help of mutations, there is no evolution onvolved.
flashtalon : BAD Jscuther!
flashtalon : BAD scientist wanna-be.
flashtalon : NO cookies for you.
jscuther : Natural selection is indeed an alleged driving force of evolution.
jscuther : No cookies fro you I guess. J
flashtalon : Besides this did you ever check my documentation to be sure my beliefs did or didnt include god and/or evolution before preaching at me?
jscuther : for*
flashtalon : I dont like cookies, so I'm fine with that.
jscuther : I haven't preached to you.
flashtalon : Evolution is simply the act of things changing over time.
jscuther : Mutations are inherently harmful anyway.
flashtalon : A mutation would be a form of evolution.
jscuther : No crap.
flashtalon : Not all mutations are harmful; even though most are.
jscuther : But evolution is a broadly defined word.
flashtalon : it's still defined.
jscuther : All are. In the rare instance there is a beneficial mutation, it still must bear the consequences of the harmful.
flashtalon : uh-hu?
jscuther : Its like saying, My legs are paralyzed, so I have the benefit of not walking out in the street to get killed by a car. It does nothing to advance evolution.
flashtalon : So you're saying the mutation has to take the consequences of something it isn't?
flashtalon : Your legs could be paralyzed due to things other than a genetic mutation.
flashtalon : And jumping out and getting hit by a car would be an act of natural selection against the moron who would walk out infront of such a thing without the use of his legs, knowing that they are in fact, much slower than a multi-ton car.
jscuther : No, the so-called beneficial mutations are all a result from a loss of genetic information, and therefore is inherently bad. The "benefit" of the mutation is purely out of a negative consequence. This is the opposite of evolution.
flashtalon : Uh. sure
jscuther : Am I wrong?
flashtalon : You're boring me now.
jscuther : How so?
flashtalon : Yep.
jscuther : Please.
flashtalon : I'd discuss this more with you but I have to go back to the lab.
jscuther : You're just gonna say, "you're boring me."?
jscuther : Haha, ok
flashtalon : I have a job.
flashtalon : And yes.
jscuther : So do I, well school actually.
flashtalon : Your arguments failed to convince me.
jscuther : You have failed to offer any rebuttal.
flashtalon : We can continue this discussion at a later date if you'd like.
flashtalon : I dont have to
jscuther : I would love to.
