So this is your last, last, last visit, as opposed to your previous 'last visit'....

Are you ever going to get how un-open-forum a phonecall is? And how much I'd rather NOT let an accused fucking FELON have my personal phonenumber? I really don't want him showing up at my door, forcing his way in, and assaulting me. Granted, I'm not stupid enough to rent from him, so I've got that going from me.

Oddly, I'm not afraid to be 'slammed on the air'. I've had people baselessly insult me on the air multiple times for supporting peoples' rights to smoke in restaurants here in Denver. Again: that's how I know that radio isn't a fair, one on one forum.

Get. It. Through. Your. Thick. Fucking. Skull. Fuck, if you weren't permanently latched on to Kent's dick, you might be able to figure it out....

Here's the big question: none of us fear calling in and showing how wrong you are about 'open forum' and 'radio'. Why are you so afraid of the board, though? You and your dear Kent? What is wrong with written debate? Long, drawn out, appropriately done written public debate?

Could it be that Kent is afraid that people will find out that he's about as literate as any lower class sixth grader? How about a little honesty for once?

I feel like I'm belabouring the point, but I'll give it to you one last time.

The radio is a neutral ground, One on one.
Why is this not true? Well, for one, as you've stated many times, it involves calling some mayihiqykal number that I don't think you've ever mentioned....
Calling. Why, that happens on a PHONE.
Phones. One-on-one? Let's look that up, shall we?

one-on-one
     adj.
Consisting of or being direct communication or exchange between two people: one-on-one instruction.
Sports. Playing directly or exclusively against a single opponent.

Well then, I suppose the phone would indeed be one-on-one....

IF, and ONLY IF it were a direct call TO HIM.

Why? One-on-one; direct communication between two individuals.

Direct. Two. There's nothing 'direct' about calling into a radio show.

Lemme see if I can break this down for you, step by step:

  1. I call the number, which makes the phone on the other end -- at the switchboard -- ring.

  2. Since we're dealing with a superbigmassive lots-of-listeners radio station [as you've made it sound], my call makes a little light light up on the switchboard. That light is a little button on a multi-line phone. That button, eventually, gets pressed.

  3. Pressing the button answers the phone. Hello, [insert standard switchboard operator bullshit corporate line here], how may I direct your call.

  4. I respond with whatever is required of me. "I'm calling in for [name of show]."

  5. Thank you, please hold.

  6. Muzak.

  7. Muzak.

  8. Thank you for holding. Please stay on the line. Muzak.

  9. The phone then [sometimes] gets answered by a PRESCREENER. Oops; didn't see that coming, DID YOU?

  10. The PreScreener is like the Triage Nurse at the ER; he/she/it asks why I'm calling; what I wanted to ask.

  11. IF I get past the prescreener, then, IF my call gets answered while the show on still on the air, I might get to talk to the dj/host/person.

  12. Hovind is just some guy sitting there in the studio with them. The host, oddly enough, is also just some guy sitting in the studio. The host has very little control over what happens -- except for the 'cut them off' signal.

  13. There's a guy in another room, which can be seen, but not HEARD, from the recording area itself, who has control of all the calls going in and out of the show; he controls what gets through, what doesn't, and, moreover, WHO gets through, and who doesn't. This guy negates the 'one-on-one' more than anything.

Okay. That was done badly, but I think it gets the point across.

Here's my two huge questions, which I know you'll never answer, because you completely ignore them:
     1. Why do you insist that written debates are inferior to over-the-phone debatse?
     2. Why do you, and your little accused-felon idol, fear written forums so much?

I really want an answer on the second one; I don't want to hear you pimp the radio show that nobody's going to listen to anymore. I want a flat out honest answer.

Beyond that, a third question:

3. How can you possibly be more ignorant than you already are?
