Getting the coffeecup out was the easy part. Then, since I was already halfway in the tank, I reached over to pet the dwarf. And it reacted.
I don't remember what the thing cost. I'm not even sure they'd set up a price for it yet. I'd assume it was at least five hundred or so.
It would have been a bad day to buy it anyway. I wasn't actually anywhere near home at the time. And, as it turned out, I'd locked my keys in the damned car. Which is how I found out that a cardboard box will actually work as a slimjim. You heard it here first....
