First off let me say that I am a firm aggnostic. I believe there is a god or somthing, but I have no beliefe structure around it. I do believe in evolution, and the scientific method. I do not feel that there is "magic", just things we dont know how to measure yet.

That said, is it possible that there is some kind of god that cannot be quantified yet? This would explain the "act of god' feelings people get, and why it cannot be proven.

I know this a bit sketchy, but its just an idea I have been kicking around. I figure if I post it here it will either get fleshed out a bit more, or totally destroyed.
