I'd also assumed this was directed at Hunter, until the guy responded to himself, instead of to Damien, mentioning me. Which leads first to something I've really got to explain.

i'm also curious what gremlin(actual name?) and Hunter have to say as well.

'Actual Name' is a nonsequitur. Names aren't actual; they're abstracts of nomenclature. Names don't exist; they're quantitative representations of concepts which may or may not exist. You might as well ask what the devil's actual name is--BaalZevuv, Lucifer, Pat Robertson, whatever; the more appropriate question is whether the devil, by any name, is actual; and the appropriate answer is 'evidently not'.
Which, in its own way, answers the primary question, as well. What makes me evil? Thinking makes it so. Which is a double entendre, of course.
It was Shakespeare's line, originally. Nothing is inherently good or evil, but thinking makes it so. That aside: cogito, ergo sum spooky.
Better still: Evil will always triumph, because Good is dumb.
That's pretty much it. What makes me evil? The alternative does. I'm perceived as evil because I'm self-aware. Because I think for myself. You perceive me as evil because I deign to question what you perceive as authority. Because I lack the tact to accomodate the cute and funny buzzies with sympathy and lies. Because, however ironically, I just don't give a damn.
As for pride, that's another issue, and a less intelligent one. All I can say about pride is that I'm far less narcissistic than anyone advertising his own humility tends to be; it's a paradoxical concept. If pride is the arrogance inherent in ameliorating above the suction of others, then I'm probably guilty. Let he who is without pride call the first cop--since that's precisely the sort of 'tard who would cave instantly in and settle out of court in my resulting Wrongful Prosecution suit.
So, there you go. What makes me evil? Is it self-appointed or what others say? Neither. It's what others fail to do. Am I proud to be evil? Immaterial. I'm just good at it.
And curiosity is the lead suspect in most feline mortality cases; curiosity is a trait of evil creatures. Welcome to the club.
