I bought the book, not the story.
I never quite read all the way through it, but it was...strange. It contradicts every zombiefilm I've ever seen, for no logical reason. Otherwise, it's got a number of fairly dumb suggestions for dealing with a zombie outbreak--with one noted exception. The back cover has a list of ten things to do in the event of an outbreak. The one I really noticed, and which made me think I should buy the book in the first place, was GO UPSTAIRS; THEN TAKE OUT THE STAIRS. For years, I've tried to figure out why in hell they didn't do that in Night of the Living Dead; I assume that zombies can't climb sheer external walls to the upper windows....
