Lots and lots of news on the BestBuy syndrome.
     First of all, I've got the recorded conversation [hereafter referred to as the Oral Fucking Contract] uploaded to gremlin.net/bestbuy, which is arguably entertaining as all hell, if not particularly important to the issue.
     That is to say that, while oral contracts are valid and viable in Colorado, BestBuy operate under California law, which is a bit less lazy about things. According to both California law and the guy Hunter just got hold of at BestBuy Corporate, this entire thing was effectively fucked: in order to have held us accountable for the repair fees, BestBuy were required to get our written consent, in advance of any billed repairs.
     That the Oral Fucking Contract authorised these repairs with the stuplations that we were also given sufficient evidence of this alleged customer abuse has no immediate bearing on the actual case, and instead just hands us an additional case against the physical store we were dealing with.
     Also, Corporate agreed that this physical store was very much fucked, and we should take the laptop to a different store, in which people with brains might exist.
     Which leaves us waiting for daylight, since only Corporate can be bothered to exist at night. I'll probably lose the laptop for yet another fucking month while they fix the damage they did to it during the first fucking month, but that just adds damages to my case against these idiots, already underway.
