What's to say? Sadly, this sort of thing was to be expected. Many people, both Arab and Americans, have or will read incorrect assumptions into this event. I suspect we would have received more of these videotaped executions whatever the cause, this only serves to justify such actions in the eyes of some. I haven't seen the videotape, and have no plans to. I have seen enough grisly death in my life to not need to see more. It is enough to know that it happened, and to see what will come of it. Remember that our attempt to pacify the region was projected to take ten years under the best case scenario, and that attacks would have continued if we had invaded or not. It is cheap foolishness to claim America brought violence on itself in invading Afghanistan or Iraq. Islamofascim needs to be quelled, because it has no intention of stopping without being crushed. We provoke them merely by existing as free Westerners.
