If my family's any indicator, you're far more likely to accidently set yourself on fire lighting the bbq, break something vital while playing football with the handicap of a nasty beer-gut, or blow your own hand off with the improvised fireworks that inevitably come with bbq events...than die from noxious fumes or liver failure.
