I wouldnt have any particular objection to building a machine (or paying for Hunter's coke intake to build one) except, I don't have any idea what I need, what would be helpful, and what is more or less pointless. My experience with computers is limited to pre-made systems, and even basic tech-knowledge is beyond me (probably because up until now, I've never really cared).

I have a vague idea of what I want the machine to be capable of in terms of what is going to be running, but even there, I don't know if there would be other programs that would be better, or if they just knock the price up 100% from the old version for a bunch of extras I dont need (or is that "I dont know I need"?).

Speaking of what I want the machine to do: Anyone have any leads on a new function key that zaps the person on the other end of a conversation into oblivion? I need about fifteen of those (funny how fast I make enemies)
