In other news....
The shoot yesterday worked out pretty well, I think. Of course, by the time it was over, I'd been up for forty hours, so I didn't manage to write a What's New yesterday. You may have caught that one on your own.
The next step is to finish designing the site in general. I've got it mostly worked out on paper [I've been working on it mostly at a Village Idiot without an outlet lately]; now I just have to code it all out to do what I've got in mind. I might do that tonight...if I don't kill twelve hours playing SimCity4 for a change.
Although another good timekiller might be playing with my other new toy. I got Poser5. Finally. It's not bad. It's slow, if you rely on the new raytracing options; but it's a lot more powerful than the last one was. Partly because they finally introduced object collision. Which is one of the most important things you can put into CG software. Poser4 had a sad attempt at object collision; it didn't really work very well. So far, Poser5 works fine.
So. It's pretty well settled. We're doing Deadache in Poser5. Sadly, we'll end up with slightly better results than the games we're spoofing; but we'll write that off as optimism. Games will probably get graphically better over time; though I'm not expecting them to become any less Engrish.
Meanwhile, I'm still setbuilding. I've got a lot of it done; just not all of it.
Which reminds me. I threw together this thing, for some reason. Mostly because, as anyone who's spent way too much time playing these games knows, a DeLorean shows up somewhere in every version of Resident Evil....
Speaking of zombies...I'm not sure what this creature is; but I think it might be irradiated....
