High schools rarely get .edu's. Mostly because they're too cheap or lazy. My school uses a .org
edu's are usually used by universities, since it portrays a sort of professionalism. Not sure why St. Xavier wouldn't have one, though.
And yes, they are a real school. I've seen the building before. But no, they aren't special. It's just another catholic high school, albeit a very expensive one. The kid is pretty obviously just a spoon-fed idiot. The kind that will inevitably get hit with a lawsuit for doing something they didn't think they'd get caught with, as they are rich. Usually it's rape, though, and not fraud.
