The latest word from Lucas went something like 'I don't think I ever personally promised to make nine films' and 'when I'm done with Episode Three, I'll be sixty; it takes ten years to make each trilogy, and there's still a lot I want to do with television'.
     So he doesn't appear to be planning on a final trilogy at all.

Regarding CG Muppets: I can't imagine something like the Muppet Show going CG [especially in Maya]; I'm thinking more that a Gremlins SE with SoftImaged/LightWaved creatures might be worth seeing in the cinema in 2004.
     Not that there's any current reason to expect that....
