Not much. I'm still playing with RotS, and News of the Stoopid in general. Although I have got shop.newsofthestoopid.com set up well enough to call it done, for the moment.

RotS itself is pushed back to February. Officially, that's the launchdate on Freethought's end; which works out nicely, since I haven't fully worked out the show yet. I've got a pretty good idea what I want the show to do; the question now is whether it will work this way with five different people involved.

We'll find out, I suppose.

One factor here is RFG. That, again, is a bit of a mess, since it started to become a sort of News of the Stoopid--breaking out of whatever atheism awareness gig I thought it could be and into more of a stoopidity awareness report. Granted: stoopidity is kinda the working antithesis of atheism, but...it should still be localised to the stoopidity of theism, and not the world in general. And theism rarely does anything new. You eventually run out of things to exploit.

On the subject: we should be able to get more shows recorded soon. Everytime I say that, something comes up and prevents it from happening. But things are slowing down again, and we should be about ready to get back to this. Especially now that the show is weekly, and not daily. That helps a lot.

Meanwhile, sine AtheistRadio.com is an NPO, there's not a lot of money to work with. So the more shows there are, the less room there is. Notwithstanding donations, they've got about fifty gigabytes to store older shows on. An hour-long show is ten megs. So the older shows are being archived into a subscription service.

I think it's something like ten bucks a month to subscibe. Not a lot, anyway. Very little, in contrast to the ten percent donated to churches by the plebeians.

I'll post the details when I have them.

For now, it's just a sort of warning. If and when the subscription goes into effect, I'll move the RFG fits there to help fund the station. So this might be a good time to listen to them if you haven't yet.

I guess that's it for now; more later....
