Actually, america is more ready than a lot of people think. Unfortunately, the most profusive source of 'information' about americans, the media, has a bad habit of directing it's spotlight on the closed-minded, bigoted minority who would love to have their views engraved into law. I may be shouting into the dark, but I still hold out the wild optimistic hope that people will not judge all americans by the illiterate, intolerant few who happen to be a bit more entertaining on camera.
