I was sitting here, thinking of how incredibly stoopid my teachers are. I then decided to write to a place that hates idiocy as much as I do. The highschool I go to is apparently ranked somwhere in the top 500 public highschools in the country. If the ranking has anything to do with the teacher's intelligence (which I doubt it does) it makes me wonder about how fucking stupid teachers are in schools ranked lower than ours.

English teacher

My friend once asked her, "What is the point to having timed writtings, they only show what you can do when you're rushed."

She responded with something along the lines of, "Well, I'm not sure why they call it a timed writting." She paused to think for a moment, "It might be because you have one block to complete your essay."

At the beginning of the marking period I made the mistake of participating in class. She was droning on about "innate evil" and I spoke up to inform her that evil is a subjective concept. She sat there and squirmed around a bit. Eventually she decided to repeat herself to make her point stronger. The following week or two she kept repeating herself to justify her point. This annoyed me enough to stop caring about how factual she is regarding her ciriculum.

She struggles to spell simple words such as: absorbed, eliminate, and critical. She refuses to pronounce nihilism correctly. She doesn't even accurately define nihilism, which isn't surprising in context.

She gets much of her ciriculum off of websites such as sparknotes.

She draws baseless conclusions of books.

History teacher

She tells us lies about how insanely hard college will be. (i.e. study 6-8 hours per night, college professors not telling you what you need to do, and some other bullshit)

For some odd reason or another, she moved my seat to the back of the room. I sat in the front so I could have a chance at reading the board. I have 20-40 vision and that's not bad enough for me to carry around glasses everyday. So, she moves me to the back of the room where I'm unable to read the board. No big deal, I don't need to copy down any of her notes anyway (world history 2 is fucking easy).

She writes down an assignment on the board for some odd reason(I guess our syllibus' aren't there for a reason), being in the back I'm unable to read what it says. I ask if I can move to my original seat so I'd be able to read the board and she refuses. She tells me to sit in a place equally far away from the board to copy down the assignment. I explain this to her and she repeats herself, telling me to sit there. I'm beginning to get pissed off now, and decide to walk up to the board to read it.

Without disturbing the class at all, I go up to the board and begin to read. She begins to yell at me for getting out of my seat to read the board and tells me to sit back down. I did as I was told, because I probably wasn't going to do that busy work anyway.
