At my second high school (I went to two), the ONLY computer lab had about thirty computers in it. Of course I still managed to subvert it for my own personal use. I learned quite a few ways of discretely accessing certain websites without leaving a trail of evidence, even using school paper to print out about five hundred pages of non-school related material over the period of one school year. I think my biggest accomplishment in subverting the system was bringing Quake to school, installing it on the computer, and holding deathmatches with my friends unbeknowest to the teacher, ah the innocence of childhood.
