I remember "More than a carpenter". My JesusCrispie aunt made me read that when I was about ten. I hated it. It was dumb. Now this aunt has gotten progressively ditzier over the years (age and lack of oxygen) and, not remembering she has made me read it twelve times, buys me a copy of "More than a carpenter every year for christmas AND birthdays. I have a stack of copies of it sitting in a box somewhere. I swear one of these days I'm going to burn them all in a twisted pagan ceremony that she would not at all approve of. (my parents, however, would be cheering me on!)

I reccomend a book called "The Jesus Puzzle". I can't remember the name of the author right off hand, but you can find it pretty easily at Amazon.com. It provides shitloads of historical, archeological and other forms of evidence that Jesus didn't exist and was simply an amalgamated mish mash of myths, legends, anecdotes and bad jokes.
