First off, I have real bad news regarding deadache, assuming I was being refered to. And if not, I have bad news besides. My locker was physically broken, and my Gamecube and Laptop were promptly removed. Nothing else, save two playstation games that were given to me to take to GameSpot to trade in for a different game by someone on leave, was taken. Security was notified, acted pissed (largely because the locker, which is government property, was broken), and started questioning people. A sign was posted that no one not living in the berthing is to be down there, and, well, at least I can say that they did everything they could. Not that I'm going to get my stuff back; that's been pawned by now. But, provided I can find a receipt, since I had it registered, I /might/ be able to be reembursed for it. Anyway, I actually had some nifty stuff that I was going to send Gremlin's way. Managed to get all the 3d engines I had working, learned, etcetera, and to take a page from Keanu Reeves, I know DirectX. However, you will have to assume those all to be hollow lies, because, well, aside from the wasted hours and the increased knowledge in how to use things other people have written while inebriated, I have nothing to show for it. The ironic thing is, I was going to burn everything to disk the next day, because I was tired of using the TV in the berth as a monitor, and was sending the damn thing to Radio Shack to dissappear into the void for a few weeks and eventually become an entirely different computer because, as it turns out, my screen was too expensive to replace, and I've run out of ways to make this sentence longer, I think, maybe. Anyway, I'm going to be back in Denver on the 29th, provided reality as I know it doesn't design some wonderful, tastefully ironic, and malevolent way to make my life yet more interesting. I'll try to avoid asking annoying questions regarding the book, and instead pester you for recordings of the show since I've been gone. Greenback
