Since Pandemic is supposed to involve scientifically defensible (to a degree) zombies, I figured that the following book might come in handy. A friend of mine picked it up as a gag gift, and really wound up getting into it. It's as corny as any field in Ohio, but some of the material (and cliches) could be useful (e.g. zombie attacks throughout history).
Anyway it's a cheap little book that one might find helpful, assuming you haven't already read it.
