I figured 'leech' might have been a typo, in this case. But, since I've seen thousands of people misusing it in the last year, it still seemed worth complaining about.
As for Ford: Henry's bigotry has actually become the lesser concern [most people aren't even aware of it anymore] against the Buy American bullshit. One of the funnier things I've ever seen [and I'm still not sure whether it was meant to be ironic or not] was a Buy American bumpersticker on a Toyota. Given that it happened to be a Toyota truck, with a fully stocked gunrack in the back window, I have some doubts about the driver's sense of humour.
And, about the terrorists: they already won. Their job included and was limited to terrorising people. The mere fact that morons are buying things based only on the 'otherwise, the terrorists win' slogan proves that they won. They scared people. Good job; go team; have a star sticker. Well, except that they're also fucking dead, which is further than I personally am willing to go just to get a reaction. I'm selfish that way: when I get a reaction, I like to be able to see its effects.
