Since not everyone lurking on this board is lurking in the mailinglist, I'll reprint the latest update here....

Apparently I am a terrorist, according to gremlin_net it is a federal crime to tell someone to repent or go to hell.

Grasping at strawmen again? It's a violation of US Code 18.875 to transmit threats across the 'net. That you acknowledge that 'repent or go to hell' is a threat merely undermines your own strawman.

Have you ever heard such nonsense in all your life?......well actually yes, I have.

Impressive; most theists merely have temporal lobe epilepsy; it's rare to find one which holds entire conversations with itself; although the satirical number of dots in an elipsis is about standard.

I read in the bible in the book of Acts that Peter and John were thrown in jail and beaten for preaching the word of God although for different reasons.

I read in the bible that bats are birds and pi is 30/10.

I am not surprised by the attitude of gremlin_net and others as it seems to be the attitude of the world at the minute.

Right. The laws are the reflexion of the majority. The majority prefer not to be threatened by 'repent or go to hell', so the minority of imbeciles who threaten the majority with such feckless demands are criminals.

I read recently that in france and belguim they have passed a law prohibiting evangelism, instituting a 20% tax on church offerings and that anyone under the age of 18 cannot attend a religious meeting (where they preach the word of God, uncomprimisingly) unaccompanied or without written consent.

Which has zilch to do with US laws. Although I could see church attendance becoming an NC17 sort of thing. That would be fair.

The only religious groups allowed any slack are the catholics and muslims, no surprise there!!!.

Not really, no. France and Belgium were always good at playing favourites.

My answer to such people as gremlin_net would be as Peter and John answered their accusers, Acts ch4:19,20"whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things that we have seen and heard"

Which I can easily repudiate with the equally fictional quote from QuiGon Jinn: 'Don't do that again.'

So if I am breaking a law, I am breaking a law, I am more than willing to stand in court and fight the cause of Jesus and defend the integrety of the Word of God, I wont back down , I wont be put off from preaching because of the law, in fact it encourages me all the more as this is a sign of the end times as written in the bible.

Which, as you've admitted before, is terrorism.

You'll be pleased to know that after preaching such a message, about hell, that 27 young people gave their lives to God just last friday at a youth crusade.

Just last Friday, twenty-seven morons out of 6.5 billion gave their lives. I'll have to see how many morons bought copies of EverQuest just last Friday. Forced to guess, I'd assume EverQuest was gaining converts faster than your little game.

27 less possible atheists, 27 more preachers of repent or hell.

And, if and when you get enough 'preachers of repent or hell' to vote in laws allowing these threats to be transmitted across interstate lines, those who break today's current laws in future might not be criminals.

God Bless you all and at the end of day I would be doing you an injustice not to warn you of what faces the Christ rejecter.

But, right now, at four in the afternoon, you're a confessed criminal. Whether you eventually go down in history as the guy who lobbied to have the laws changed to allow threats like these doesn't change that.
