you are straying from the topic please refrain from making references to specific gods please refrain from making judgements about god and what god should do in this thread if you wish to know why ask about it in a new thread the question was what is a god the answer sadly is not found in any dictionary
     i thank you gremlin for picking apart the definition from the american heritage dictionary of the english language you have validated my next point dictionaries are not the supreme authority on what something is if i wrote a dictionary today and it somehow got published and distributed and i defined cow as being a six legged creature this does not make it so thankfully the american heritage dictionary has a little more respect for the english language and attempts to maintain true definitions sadly humans are the error prone creatures you have come to know as stoopid also the english language is a living language definitions evolve yes a theist has used the word evolve
     my question reworded is what do you think a god is
     i hope you are willing to continue with this discussion with me i have found that when all of the information is revealed at once misunderstandings abound tempers flare minds close judgements are passed etc this is why i discuss each term of my statement piece by piece so that if a flaw were to come up in either my beliefs or your assertions we can amend them as unlikely as this may be i do ask that you keep an open mind with me and i will do the same with you i would also ask that you would please watch me for logical errors and please point them out since i too am human
