Either your deity was created by another deity before it created the universe this is circular. I am content with just letting it be one deity. If there is indeed a deity, it would HAVE to exist outside of the laws of physics...hence his ability to create matter and energy. To have a creator constrained within the laws of physics is inconceivable, and stoopid, that is the greek/roman deity. So I come back to my point. Either the laws of physics are the god to which we are all bound, or a deity is the god to which we are all bound. Basically there is something out there which is infinite (largely in terms of time) and uncreated.
